NSW Police Legacy Digital Child Safety Handbook

A new edition of the Child Safety Handbook is now available online.  The current edition has been updated with digital/online safety, light rail safety, metro train safety, dental health, diabetes, etc.

The Child Safety Handbook App has also been produced by NSW Police Legacy and includes everything a community needs to protect our most valuable and vulnerable resource – our children.  From preventative measures at home to safety outdoors, from cybersafety to dealing with peer pressures, this App is a resource for every family and school community.  The app can be downloaded via the Apple store, Google Play or Amazon Kindle.

UNSW Global Assessments – ICAS English and Mathematics Results

Earlier this term Year 4 and Year 6 sat the ICAS English and Mathematics Assessments. The ICAS Assessments series is designed to assess your students’ ability to apply classroom learning in new contexts, using higher-order thinking and problem-solving skills.

All students receive a participation certificate.  In addition our students received:-

7 Distinction Certificates

3 High Distinction Certificates

Mathematics

8 Merit Certificates

16 Credit Certificates

11 Distinction Certificates

All certificates will be handed out next week.

Compass Update

There is an update for the Compass app so if you don’t have your updates on automatic please make sure your app is updated. We have resolved an issue with links not working on mobile phones and ipads. When you go into the event scroll to the bottom of the event and click on View event Resources. See attached image.
