From the Principal

We certainly live in interesting times. It is hard to know what should be done and it is clear that I am not the only one who feels this way.

I am in receipt of a great deal of information from a number of sources each day about COVID 19. Wading through them and being ready to respond to each new advice is taking our energy and concentration at the moment.

The latest advice I have is that schools will remain open until further notice. Rest assured that if schools are closed for any period of time online learning will be supported through a range of applications already at our disposal and tasks generated by staff and sent out to families at home.

There are a range of sites for obtaining information regarding the virus. The World Health Organisation – Myth Busters page is a good place to start.

I have also attached to the newsletter a great explanation of COVID 19 for children, which was shared with me by our school counsellor. We will get through this together, with a bit of social distancing, I am confident.
