Last week I commenced the interview process for Kindergarten 2020. I know I say this every year but I think it becomes truer as each year passes, ‘it only seems like yesterday I finished enrolling for 2019’.
I am meeting with families to enrol students who I cradled, what seems like, yesterday. We have a large group of siblings this year many of whom are the youngest of three or four siblings. This is our third year of high sibling numbers and if we have enough applications we will take three classes for Kindergarten 2020.
These three Kindergarten classes could be smaller than our normal 30 students, possibly in the low twenties. This would be a one off, enabling us to take some extra new families, ensuring strong enrolments into the future.
Our current strong enrolment pattern, which sits outside of the current trends, is a testament to our hard working staff, you our fabulous community and your brilliant children. Next week our Open Day Tours commence on Tuesday morning. There are three days for our senior students to host our visitors on guided tours around our school.
Your children and our teachers are the best advertisement our school can have.
