Last week in 4B we were learning to synthesize our knowledge about La nina and El Nino. In Spanish La Nina means little girl and El Nino means little boy. We made bookmarks to go home to our parents so they can understand what La Nina and El Nino are. La Nina means lots of rain and increased chance of flash floods and cyclones and the trade winds from the east are stronger. El Nino is the opposite, meaning drought, increased chance of bushfires and the trade winds are weaker and can even reverse.
We also made a rookie weather report weather videos, explaining the effects of La Nina and El Nino. #cameraclass #BOM #weather
